These truly dedicated women set everything up for our clinicians so they can focus purely on our patients. We’ve built a happy, effective team with personalities that get on well together so they can give their best for you, our patients.

Lisa’s story

Lisa finished her uni degree and came to us with 5 years experience. She’s the calm one in the practice and always has a compassionate ear for patients.

Bec’s story

I’m a born and bred Northern Beaches girl. After completing my school certificate at Mackellar Girls High School I went on to learn all the aspects of dental nursing at a practice in Manly. In 2002 I travelled the world with friends and experienced many different cultures along the way and returned to begin working at the Smile Doctor in 2005. During my time at the practice I have learnt many new chair side procedures and techniques and am still learning new things today. It was a challenge in the beginning but now I feel very confident as a chair side assistant and I love coming to work!

In my personal time I enjoy keeping fit, spending time with my family, going on long walks with my Staffy dog and of course shopping! Then of course there’s  fine food and wine, wine, wine.

Mercedes’ story

I grew up in country NSW and moved to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs after completing my HSC.  With 4 years experience and the Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting, I started with the Smile Doctor in 2006 so I could live on the Northern Beaches. I enjoy spending time with my family who come to visit occasionally, going to the beach, movies, shopping, cooking and of course coming to work each day (to annoy Malcolm)!

Soraya’s story

Soraya left a childcare career looking for a challenge. There are times she feels she may have bitten off a bit more than she can chew, but she’s found her calling here.
