Smile Guarantee

Our amazing Smile Guarantee

It’s a big step getting back your dental health. So you want to be sure you get what you want and it will last.

We can offer the security you need with our Smile Guarantee, because of the high calibre of our work.

We’ve been standing by our work like this since 1990, because we’d far rather fix things than have a patient who’s not totally happy. Yes, there have been a few cases we have redone, and there have been some restorations that have failed prematurely. We’re good, but not perfect and we don’t see why you should have to pay for something that is most likely to have been our problem.

Besides, it’s more important to us that our patients are totally satisfied.

Our Smile Guarantee covers two specific areas

  1. We want you to be totally happy with the finished job. So if you are in any way dissatisfied with our work, you just have to notify us within the first 3 months after placement. It’s simple – we’ll fix it or replace it all for free.
  2. We expect our work to last for you, and if it doesn’t, we’ll replace it for free.

If any of our recommended restorations break within the stated period, they will be replaced for free.

10 years of placement for all indirect restorations (those made in a laboratory and cemented in or fitted).

5 years for direct restorations (“fillings”) and 2 years for childrens’ direct restorations.

Here’s a brief summary of our conditions

  • If you’re unhappy with your treatment, you must notify us within 3 months and arrange treatment within another 3 months.
  • Read our conditions form and sign stating you agree to our conditions.
  • You maintain your preventive care appointments at the practice at least once a year.
  • Wear protective devices if recommended.
  • Of course, no guarantee applies to treatment that hasn’t been fully paid.

Full details are available at the practice when you apply and there are no sneaky catches. Our conditions are mostly to ensure you understand what you need to do to minimise the risk of having something done again, because no one wants more dental treatment, even if it is free !
